OUR FOUNDER

Joseph Di Staulo is the founder and sole proprietor of Joseph Di Staulo, CPA, a Red Bank, NJ-based business specializing in income tax preparation and IRS representation. As a tax professional, Joseph has helped individuals, families, businesses, and non-profit organizations navigate the complex US tax code. His 40+ years of experience and on-going tax education enable him to solve the most complex tax issues and disputes.

Prior to launching the firm in 1985, Joseph was a tax law specialist for the Internal Revenue Service for 10 years. Prior to his accounting career, Joseph founded numerous companies, providing a wealth of experience to guide both startup and established businesses.

Joseph received his BS in Accounting from Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City, Magna Cumlaude. He has earned the Enrolled Agent designation from the Department of the Treasury and is licensed by the States of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Florida as a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals, the California Society of CPAs, and the Red Bank Chamber of Commerce. Joseph lives and works in Monmouth County with his wife Therese and two sons. He enjoys traveling to Florida and spending quality time with his family.
